Brothers, we are proud to announce the election and installation of a new group of brothers to lead the undergraduate chapter through the 2013-2014 academic year.  Andrew Mazzola (2015) will lead the A section chapter as President, Justin Cargill (2016) will take over the responsibilities of Treasurer, Charlie Bierstetel (2016) and Mitchell Sloboda (2016) will be the new Recording and Corresponding Secretaries, and David Butler (2015) will be the new Historian.  As the past cabinet transitioned with them, we all recognized their leadership and passion for the house and we look forward to see what direction they take the house in the future.  We wish them the best of luck!

7 brothers were initiated on March 9th at the International Headquarters of Phi Gamma Delta in Lexington, KY!  It was a great experience for them and for all of the current brothers who got the chance to make their first trip to IHQ.  The newest A Section AlphaGam’s are:

This years Graduate BBQ date has been finalized for August 20, 2011 and the rest of the info is up on the website now and can be found here!  Other updates to the website include some new Graduate Brother profiles, as well as new undergraduate B-section members.   We have also updated the capital campaign page with new donation numbers and people, as well as the current major house project going at this very moment, the structural reinforcement project.   Also, a snail-mail newsletter from the undergrads will be coming out within the next month, so be looking for it in your mailboxes!

The recap and over 250 pictures from the 2011 Frank Norris Pig Dinner are up on the site.  We had 144 total in attendance, 104 of which were brothers!! If you are one of the 104 brothers that were in attendance, please fill out this short survey with your thoughts on how it went to ensure next year’s dinner is just as good!!  We’ve also have updated portions of the Brothers section and Graduate Brother section of the website with biography’s of old and new brothers!  Under construction now is the Board of Chapter Advisors page, as well as new house updates that will be underway soon thanks to the 2010  Capital Campaign that is still underway!  Speaking of the Capital Campaign, at the Pig Dinner on May 14th we surpassed the $100,000 mark!  We would like to thank the 78 Graduate brothers who have pledged over $107,000 to date!!

As one of the newest additions to the website we will be taking the undergraduate and graduate brother profiles that are sent out with the bi-weekly graduate update e-mails and implementing them into the website.  The first graduate brother profile is Gary Gathen (Class of 1965), with the next due out in a week!  There are also 4 undergraduate brothers profiles updated as well!    Reminder- the 2011 Frank Norris Pig Dinner is May 14, please RSVP as soon as possible!

Just wanted to inform everyone of the ongoing updates!
-Have begun putting in personal profiles for each of the brothers – as of today there are three complete! More will be uploaded every other week!
-Added a Pledge Project area to the website–Complete with pictures from the most recent one!
-Added a Work Weekend area to the website–Complete with pictures from the most recent one!

-added a summary and pictures from the recent work weekend at the house
-added a RSVP for pig dinner
-updated the projects portion of the capital campaign, now shows pictures and a description of the first major project– the sewage line
