Stephen Root (Class of 2013) from Sterling Heights, MI is currently in his third year studying Mechanical Engineering. Steve is currently employed with Ride Control, LLC. The company specializes in the manufacturing of Gabriel shocks and struts. He currently works in the Recreation and Industrial division of the company to which his duties include testing shocks for warranty verification, and reverse engineering of shock internals. Steve’s interests include the Detroit Red Wings, golf, poker, and outdoor leisure. As a FIJI he has served as the Athletic Chair, and is currently the chapter President. As President Steve has strived to motivate FIJIs to be their best and stressed that we must always hold ourselves to the morals that this fraternity was founded upon. He has been a large asset to this chapter and we are grateful for his service, and to have a brother such as himself.
