On March 13, 2011 the brothers of the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta held the Paddle ceremony for the newly initiated Xi Class Pledge Class brothers. These paddles that the newly initiated brothers made are for their respective big brothers.

Though a paddle no longer strikes fear into the new brothers from the pledgeship they had to endure, but now represent the respect they have gained from the time and help offered from their big brother. The creativity of each paddle is to represent the strengths that the “little’s” have seen in their “big’s”.
