Jameson Fee (Class of 2007) is from Defiance, OH and currently works for Ticona, who manufactures reinforced plastic resin for multiple uses, including automotive, appliances, electronics, and medical devices, in Auburn Hills, MI. He started working there as a Mechanical Engineering co-op in 2003, worked there for his whole time at Kettering, and was offered a job with them in their North American Design Group upon graduation in 2007. He still works there and they perform structural analysis for customers and carry out product development work for OEM’s across North, Central, and South America. His interests include sports, especially wrestling, sand volleyball, and soccer, anything dealing with the outdoors, such as camping and fishing, and computer gaming. Among his interests are also his girlfriend and their dog, Rambo. He says he owes most thanks for becoming a FIJI to Rebecca Lee, now wife of our Brother Paul Durkee (Class of 2006), who finally managed to drag him out of his dorm room and brought him to FIJI events. His first exposure to Phi Gamma Delta on campus was at a volleyball night rush event. There, after spending a few hours talking to a Brother, Chris Lesko (Class of 2007), it felt like he had known him for years. After talking to a few more brothers at rush events and late nights at the Green House, namely Brian Purdy (’07) and Matt Ingels (’07), he felt the same thing. That was when he knew that he wanted to be a brother in Phi Gamma Delta. Some of Jameson’s memories of the house as an undergrad were retreats, Team Up All Nighters, T.N.T., Las Vegas, The Mounds, cross country road trips, Buffalo NY, the day before Intersection parties, and house pranks (especially Team Iota pranks). His favorite memories though are of his days pledging FIJI, playing intramural sports with his brothers, staying up until almost 4am multiple week nights with Joe Kotlarczyk (Class of 2008) playing on addictinggames.com, and playing sand volleyball on the court he helped to rebuild. As an undergrad, he served the house as Steward, Academics, and Graduate Relations. His time as Graduate Relations was his favorite and is the main reason why he is starting his fourth year as the Purple Legionnaire for the chapter now. The Purple Legionnaire is the primary advisor to the undergraduate chapter and Jameson has had a very influential role in that position. Jameson also currently serves the house as the Chapter Operations Advisor in the BCA where he has a hand in everything the undergrad chapter and the graduate BCA does. Jameson owes a lot of where he is today to his time in the house. Before becoming a FIJI, he was a self-proclaimed hermit, but the house quickly changed that. He is a lot more outgoing now and that has led to much of his successes in both his professional and social life. If he were to give any advice to undergraduate brothers, it would be to stay in touch after graduation because the brothers you go to school with will be there for you the rest of your life. We are proud to call men like Jameson brothers!
